Joe Battenfeld: Democrats rush to evade blame for inciting latest violence

Hypocritical Democrats and their sycophants in the media are rushing to evade blame for inciting political violence in the country including the latest assassination attempt of President Donald Trump.
White House officials yesterday called out three Massachusetts lawmakers – Ayanna Pressley, Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey – for leading the “left wing cult of hatred” against Trump for years – culminating in the latest shooting at the White House Correspondents’ dinner.
“This political violence stems from a systemic demonization of him and his supporters by commentators, by elected members of the Democrat Party and even some in the media,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said.
“This hateful and constant and violent rhetoric directed at President Trump day after day after day for 11 years has helped to legitimize this violence and bring us to this dark moment.”
Pressley, Warren and Markey have been leading the charge against Trump in Massachusetts, calling him repeatedly a “dictator” and advocating for him to be ousted from office.
“We have to do everything possible to stop this war (against Iran) and to stop this president, everything should be on the table,” Pressley said.
Nationally, from Jimmy Kimmel calling Melania Trump an “expectant widow” to Hakeem Jeffries vowing “maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time” against Republicans, Democrats have been going after Trump viciously – calling him everything from a fascist to a pedophile – similar to the language in a manifesto written by the latest shooter.
“When you read the manifesto of the shooter, ask yourselves, how different is the rhetoric from this almost-assassin than what you read on social media and hear in various forms every single day,” Leavitt said. “The answer, if you’re being honest with yourself, is that there is no difference at all.”
Some Democrats this weekend actually tried to escape blame by postulating that Trump incited his own assassination attempt. Other liberals called it a fake assassination attempt.
In their narcissistic drive to regain power, some Democrats do wish Trump was dead and that’s the reality.
They are so desperate in their deranged quest for power that some lawmakers will say virtually anything. They don’t care if they rip the country apart or get Trump killed.
There is an ongoing campaign to remove him at all costs. There is no line of decency anymore – Democrats have erased it. Just look at the blood lust after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The party should be calling for unity, hold a press conference and take a real stand against political violence against Trump
But instead they are ratcheting up the rhetoric.
For instance, a prominent progressive activist and brewery owner in Wisconsin promised “free beer” when Trump dies and his brewery posted on Facebook “We almost got #freebeerday.”
“Either a brother or a sister in the Resistance needs to work on their marksmanship or he faked another assassination to get a positive news cycle,” the post said. “We’ll never know. Regardless, we stand at the ready to pour free beer the day it happens.”
On the CBS show “60 Minutes,” correspondent Norah O’Donnell read from the shooting suspect Cole Allen’s manifesto on Sunday – including portions that referred to a “pedophile” and rapist and read the quotes to Trump during an interview.
“Do you think he was referring to you?” O’Donnell asked Trump.
That kind of lowball tactic is what passes for journalism today in the liberal media.
“Well I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would because you’re horrible people,” Trump told her. “Horrible people. Yeah, he did write that. I’m not a rapist.”
Why Trump agreed to an interview with that long disgraced show is unclear.
